Delaware SCORE offers numerous workshops and seminars throughout the year on a variety of different topics of interest to for new and existing business owners. Workshop faciitators are SCORE volunteers and in our ProPel series, experts in their field from the community. When scheduled and available for registration the workshps are featured below under the search function on this page.
Our workshops are presented at no charge and are open to all.
We feature 3 primary workshops: "Start Up & Basic Concepts", "So You Want to be an Entrepreneur", and "Business Idea Assessment". These workshops are scheduled frequently and are recommended for first time entrepreneurs. Other workshops cover topics such as refining your business plan, financing and financial management, marketing, and using social media and will be posted here and on our Facebook page when scheduled. Please check often and follow us on Facebook or Twitter. We also partner locally with Chambers of Commerce, the Delaware Library System, SBA, and the YWCA (WAND) program.
If you are anticipating starting a business we also recomend you begin your journey by accessing the Startup Roadmap. This consists of a series of online modules that will help you evaluate your business proposition and begin your business planning process. A mentor can then assist you as you work through the series modules that apply to your situation.
