I can help you in two distinct sectors because I have had successful careers in both the food & beverage industry and the nonprofit sector. I can help to conceptualize and launch your food and beverage business, whether it is a restaurant, deli, food truck, bakery, ghost kitchen and more. My expertise and experience includes business planning and start up assistance through analyzing operations and systems to controlling costs and maximizing profits. I understand all aspects of this industry and know what it’s like to roll up your sleeves and rub on the elbow grease to get the job done.
I can also help nonprofit organizations with the seemingly daunting startup process, defining their mission, and strategically planning to advance their mission. I love program creation, development, and assessment and am experienced with volunteer recruitment and retention, including Board development. I understand the challenges nonprofits face today and can help you with fundraising planning. Now retired, my second career in the nonprofit sector was extremely enriching and I welcome the opportunity to work with you.
Outside my volunteer work with SCORE, I enjoy all aspects of gardening, hikes with my dogs, serious food and spending time in my art studio.
